Pejo
A valley rich in traditions in the largest Italian
National Park, 13 Km of beautiful ski tracks, from 1400 to 2400 meters,
ideal for those who hate confusion, a very modern thermal center, a lot of
proposals of entertainment for those who love nature.
A few kilometers the impressive ski area of Marilleva,
Folgarida and Madonna di Campiglio with a total of 120 Km of slopes among
the Dolomiti di Brenta and the Ortles Cevedale mountain Group.
Location
Peio is located at an altitude of 1400 meters in a valley
at the feet of the Alpine Group of Ortles Cevedale with mountain tops all
above the 3000
meters, often close to 4000. Peio is the oldest touristic station in Val di Sole,
known for its thermal, oligo-mineral a iron waters since 1650.

The villages that make the Comune are rich of history and
traditions. The surrounding environment, included in the Stelvio National
Park, reserves for the nature lover enormous satisfactions.
The accommodations (18 hotels in addition to the residences, timesharing,
and a camping) are perfectly inserted in the beautiful villages of this
alpine valley.
The connections between the different villages and the ski
areas are provided by a bus service Cogolo – Peio Terme every half
hour and by the SkiBus provided by the hotels. Connection with the other
localities of the
Skirama Dolomiti Adamello Brenta is gprovided by the free service
NeveBus.

Peio has been known since 1650 for its thermal, oligo-mineral

winter time.
Pejo offers a lot of entertainment possibilities organized

Promotur: Cinema, skating, life toghether (the ritual of the del vin brulè,

live again, ...), walks and excursions(meetings for a trip in the culture
and the nature with over 10 km of paths), traditions (the milk, the old
activities, the woods, the places of the legends, ...) and the National Park (watching
the fauna,
naturalistic movies, ...).

Those who love adventure can climb ice falls, can explore
the largest Italian Natural Park with snow rackets, or dedicate themselves
to country skiing in the Ortles Cevedale Group.
